We’re pretty skeptical of any product that promises great coffee taste, a better outlook on life, and weight loss abilities. Sounds too good to be true, right? Enter: Elevacity’s Elevate Smart Coffee.
On their website, they tout that their coffee is formulated by a team of doctors and scientists, all with the goal of targeting your hormones. Hormones that are naturally found in the body (but commonly in lower-than-optimal quantities in adults) drive your mood and affect your bodies metabolism:
- Dopamine – commonly known as the “happiness” chemical
- Oxytocin – the chemical known as the “love hormone”
- Serotonin – goes hand-in-hand with dopamine
- Endorphins – chemicals that make you “feel good”
It’s pretty difficult to find something that boosts all four of these chemicals that isn’t sold over the counter. So we were intrigued when we learned that a coffee could boost all of these!

Just a note, we did not test this product for it’s proposed long-term health benefits. We tried it a couple of times over a period of a week to make sure that it stands up to claims made on the website!
While this coffee tastes great, it’s definitely not a substitute for coffee and we wouldn’t recommend buying it if you’re not looking for a mood enhancer! It’s got a medium to french taste that tasted bitter at first, but had a delicious mocha flavor when combined with some almond milk.
Many reviews out there claims that it curbs appetite. This was only true for us in a couple of cases. First, if you’re someone that doesn’t get too hungry in the mornings but might be tempted by a donut left in the break room, this might be a solution for you! Second, if you’re craving a snack before dinner, brew a cup of Elevate Smart Coffee and it’ll hold you over for a couple of hours. This is not a meal substitute, so don’t try and replace your lunch with a couple of cups!
